The Flue Gas Cleaning Library (FGC_lib) is an IPSEpro model library for modeling Flue Gas Cleaning systems by solving the steady-state mass, energy and chemical balances.
The Flue Gas Cleaning Library (FGC_lib) is an IPSEpro model library for modeling Flue Gas Cleaning systems by solving the steady-state mass, energy and chemical balances.
With IPSEpro and FGC_Lib, you will be able to support the basic design of process sequences, determine the operating conditions and evaluate the flue gas, additive, byproduct and waste streams with respect to flow, composition and thermal state for systems incorporating flue-gas cleaning technology.
The performance of each single unit operations (removal efficiency, stoichiometry of additive supply, pressure drop, etc.) is specified by the user. The flow, composition and thermal state of the drain streams are determined from the chemical and thermodynamic models implemented in the library for each particular operation.
